When I was about 13, I was introduced to the concept of regular exercise through my church's youth group and I've loved exercising ever since. I enjoyed playing organized (and unorganized) sports growing up and once I got to college I decided to study more about wellness and living healthy. I graduated with my Bachelor's in Exercise Science, concentrating on Fitness and Wellness Management. I've spent some time in the past working in corporate and commercial gyms as a personal trainer, but now that I'm a stay-at-home mom to 4 awesome kids I help friends and friends-of-friends get a better grasp on fitness through my blog and by writing them exercise programs. I've taken "breaks" from living healthy over the past few years, but I personally know that I feel better when I'm eating healthy and regularly exercising. Hopefully I can show others they can feel their best when they do this too!
